The Mowat's are from Vancouver island and are used to spending much of their time outdoors.

We wanted to bring the warmth of the wood and stone into a 3 season gazebo with a gorgeous fireplace to keep them warm on chilly nights. The 'in ground' custom water feature gives them the soothing sounds of the bubbling water while they are gazing around at the dry river bed, and gorgeous tiered planting beds. The lighting on this project was key as well as they loveto entertain in the evenings.

Sculpting the Hardscape

Careful attention to detail brought this complex design together seamlessly and with minimal impact to the existing yard. Quality control by our team kept communication flowing throughout construction to ensure total satisfaction.

Finishing Touches

Once the hardscape installation phase was complete, the surrounding area was filled with premier sod to blend the existing yard with new growth. More importantly to our client, it was a usable space the day we left the site - maximizing the season!
